The Cougars played their best game of the season MAULING the red hot Oslo Vikings 7-3 before the sell out crowd at Salming Place.

The Cougars played their best game of the season MAULING the red hot Oslo Vikings 7-3 before the sell out crowd at Salming Place. After falling behind 2-0 in the first period the Cougars scored 6 unanswered goals in the second. Todd Bertuzzi stayed hot scoring his 13th goal of the season which turned out to be the game winner. Patrik Elias chipped in with 2 goals and Cristobal Huet stopped 34 of 37 shots. The win was the Cougars third straight leaving the team tied for 4th place in the World conference 10 points behind the Oslo Vikings.
