Huskies Have long Playoff Run

Young players begin to pay dividends for Huskies , as draft picks start to blossom.

 A team built from the draft begins to pay off. The players who have been working their way up through the Huskies system have arived and the big club is taking baby steps towards a top end team. The old guard of Drew Doughty ,Jordan Staal , Victor Hedman ,Brendan Gallagher , Nazem Kadri , Mika Zibanejad and Mark Stone  are just coming into their prime.

 Newcomers are on the rise , gaining valuable playoff experiance . The youngsters William Nylander , Matthew Tkachuk ,Radek Faksa ,Damon Severson , Zach Hyman , Christian Dvorak ,Nikita Zadorov and John Gibson in the net.are the young guard coming of age.

The prospects on the horizon look great also . Future talent in the system includes Brendan Perlini , Jared McCann , Ryan Donato , Jordan Greenway , Erik Brannstrom , Jeremy Davies and future star Quintin Hughes .

" Hughes looks to be a top defender , with Brannstrom and Davies we see a bright future. We need a backup goalie and more scoring in upcoming drafts." said GM owner D,R.Morrison.

    Jarome Iginla the new rookie head coach has done a great job in his first year .His low key approach , working positively with this young team  has payed off . Brent Sutter coaching the Penticton Claimjumpers to the finals , is another bright sign for the Huskies system.
