The SICHL is Coming to Hawaii with the First Annual Butterfly Prospect Challenge

The Boston Colonials, Havana Revolution, and London Monarchs have joined forces for the inaugural Butterfly Prospect Challenge

The Boston Colonials, Havana Revolution and London Monarchs are proud to announce the inaugural Butterfly Prospect Challenge. Building on the team’s on and off the ice rivalry the BPC will feature some of the game’s best upcoming players and will be played in the beautiful setting of Honolulu, Hawaii at the Oahu Dome. Each of the organizations will send 23 of their best prospects to duke it out in the three-game tournament.

The challenge launches this Friday when the Boston Colonials’ prospects take on the Havana Revolution’s upcoming stars. On Saturday London’s young guns go head to head with the Colonials. The Revolution and the Monarchs close out the tournament on Sunday. The tournament provides the teams, and their fans, with the ability to evaluate their young talent playing in a high calibre tournament. Each team is sending a squad of 23 players to participate in the challenge.

Highlighting the players attending are 2017 second overall pick Nolan Patrick, 2018 first rounders Adam Boqvist, Liam Foudy, and Oliver Wahlstrom as well as other high-profile prospects including Shane Bowers, Liam Kirk, Victor Mete, Sam Steel, Nicholas Merkely, Jon Gillies, and Julius Honka.

Representing the London are: Nolan Patrick, Oliver Wahlstrom, Liam Kirk, Mason Appleton, Shane Bowers, Riley Tufte, Oskar Steen, Taylor Cammarata, Dominic Turgeon, Emil Pettersson, Max McCormick, Jason Dickinson, Olivier Archambault, Jett Woo, Jake Wallman, Jack Dougherty, Blake Siebenaler, Jake Bean, Tyler Inamoto, Luke Martin, Justus Annunen, Jordan Binnington, and Mackenzie Blackwood.

The Boston Colonials are sending Curtis Douglas, Liam Foudy, Anatoli Golyshev, Mathias Laferriere, Martia Marcantuoni, David Pope, Anton Zlobin, Daniel Sprong, Adam Ollas Mattsson, Connor Clifton, Radim Salda, Marc McNulty, Adam Boqvist, Victor Mete, Timothy Boyle, Declan Chisholm, Nathan Clurman, Gustav Lindstrom, Alexander Peters, Jesper Petterson, Wyatte Wylie, Alexis Gravel, and Joel Hofer to the tournament.

The Revolution’s prospects will be comprised of: Jesper Bratt, Sam Steel, NIcholas Merkley, Michael Spacek, Cole Cassels, Blake Speers, Alexander Chmelevski, Adam Brooks, Radovan Bondra, Jake Leschyshyn, Antoine Morand, Mathais From, Cameron Crotty, Julius Honka, Luke Green, Carl Dahlstrom, Riley Stillman, Parker Wotherspoon, Frederic Allard, Ryan Collins, Thomas Schemitsch, Jon Gillies, Samuel Montebeault

Tickets are now on sale for all games. The teams have each set up fan experience zones around the arena and are promising a one of kind event. Current players and alumni will also be on hand signing autographs and taking selfies. Fans are encouraged to share their own experience and photographs using the hashtag #BPC2018.
