The Dublin Shamrocks open their fifth season in the SICHL tomorrow night against the Gladiators in Hamburg. It will be first of three games in 3 nights for the Shamrocks who have recently seen many new faces enter the locker room.

Over the off-season GM Ryan Torrie continued to stockpile prospects but at the same time brought in some veteran presecence to help with the rebuild. During free agency, the Shamrocks were able to sign Shane Doan, Dan Hamhuis and Alexander Edler. GM Torrie hopes that they will help in the locker room. In addition, GM Torrie was able to bring in two goalies that will share the workload over the course of the season, Martin Jones and Pekka Rinne

During the waiver draft, the Sharmocks added another goaile in Al Montoya and two defenceman Alex Biega and Derek Smith. All three are expected to start in Glasgow, but will probably see playing time, especially with the crazy schedule to begin the season.

Dennis Everberg-Eric O'Dell-Tanner Kero

The following night the Shamrocks open at home against the Express. There will be additional 1000 fans in attedance due to an expasnion of the arena during the off-season. Rinne is expected to start that evening.
