After a franchise year which had the Havana Revolution knocking on the door to a SICHL finals berth, the organization has rewarded loyal fans with a new set of jerseys to collect and admire. These new threads are quite a drastic change from the traditional logo and styling on their standard home and away uniforms.

"A completely new look is what we were going for" chimed in GM Prozeller, "we wanted to add a "face" to the franchise" he later added whilst chuckling to himself. The new logo is the centre point of the uniform with a revolutionary soldier sporting a green beret, and a heavy "castro-esque" beard snarling down the opponent.

The colour scheme pays tribute to the traditional Revolution palette with reds, dark grey, green and sandy yellow. The uniform has traditional Cuban army insignia on the arms, coupled with the khaki white and dark grey colour scheme and a modern twist really brings this jersey to the forefront. “We think its a great look for the team, and are mostly excited for our fans, as they are the ones who deserve it most!" added Captain Tyler Seguin

The jersey was kept a secret until basically opening night, as the Revolution wanted season ticket holders along with opening night fans to be rewarded with the first chance to purchase and see the jerseys in action. The Revolution will launch the jersey tonight against the Miami Makos their Cuban/American rival and it is expected to be an electric atmosphere with the fans rabid for more hockey in what has become a very demanding hockey market!

¡Viva La Revolucion!

Words of Revolt

- Mike Fisher has taken over the alternate captain duties held by Chris Higgins for the previous two years. Higgins deferred the A to his elder during training camp. Francios Beauchemin will remain the second alternate.

- The Revolution have 6 players vying for spots on World Junior rosters, Jon Gillies, Garret Sparks, Mikko Vainonen, Connor Murphy, Johnathan Huberdeau, and Miikka Salomaki.

- Havana picked up Dman Aaron Johnson in the waiver draft on Sunday from the Toronto Titans. Although he is not on the starting roster expect him to see some game action this year.

- In a trade earlier this week the Revolution acquired a new backup goalie Ray Emery, after Ben Scrivens proved he needs another year in the minors during preseason.

- The Revoltion's standard jerseys will also receive a quick sprucing up aswell with insignia's added onto the shoulders.
