Jordan Staal is injured at 2:05 of 3rd period (Lacerated Left Calf) , that was the line in the box score . The Huskies lost the backend of a home and away matchup , with the Edmonton Supersonics. The defending Canadian conference champions Sonics , beat the Huskies 2-1 ,ln Edmonton. Two one was the same score  the Huskies beat the Sonics in Whitehorse , but overtime and shootout thrilled the Yukon crowd.Great goaltending was had at both ends in game two.Cory Schneider was the first star for the Sonics and leads the league with 1.47 goals against average Tuukka Rask was named third star and made 35 saves for the Huskies. It was a tough loss against a long time rival.

The loss of Jordan Stall for a season ending injury , will cripple this team. Brandon Sutter will switch back to his natural position at center. Look for Patrick Marleau to wear the C and Dave Bolland to wear the A.. The not signing of Tyler Bozak, his 17 points are leading the league , looks like a big mistake. Manny Malhotra who the Huskies let go to the Fire Ants would look good at center now. Will Lombardi ever come back from injury  , the kids need to save the season.........
