Aces Blown Out in Game 1by Dustin Nielson | June 9, 2016, 7:40 PM ET
The Continental Cup finals did not begin as planned for the Las Vegas Aces.
The Aces had won 9 games in a row heading into Game 1 of the final against Acadia but none of that mattered after the dust settled on a 6-2 loss.
Las Vegas outshot Acadia 33-31 but Sergei Bobrovsky struggled in bewteen the pipes for the first time in these playoffs. "I need to be better, it's as simple as that," said Bobrovsky after the game.
PK Subban didn't put the blame on Bobrovsky, "This entire team needs to be better if we plan on winning this series. It wasn't just Bob's fault, we fell apart in the defensive zone a numebr of times."
As of this moment it doesnt' t look like there will be any changes to the Aces lineup for Game 2 although Willie Mitchell could eventually draw in on the backend.
