Cougars 2014/15 Season Preview.

by Mia Churchill | November 15, 2014, 5:42 PM ET

Team Captain Scott Hartnell has made a bold statement. The Stockholm Cougars will make the playoffs this season.  Harnell is entering his second season as Cougar's captain.  He will lead a roster that includes "two" lines that can score goals.  Backed up by third and forth lines that will crash and bang the opposition while chipping in a goal or two.  The defence boasts a solid top 6.  Starting goalie is Steve Mason.  Mason (25) is entering his 7th season with Stockholm.  The projected lines:

GM Tom Baker agreed with "C" Hartnell that the Cougars are a playoff team.

The GM was to fully address the media today on the state of the franchise.  However due to a family issue GM Baker has decided to defer his comments until the team has played 10 games.   The GM who clearly had other things on his mind did VOW that the team will finish the 2014/2015 SICHL Season higher than 17th place overall.

As he exited the press room Baker was heard mumbling..."17th place in the Power Rankings?"  Did those guys even look at our roster?  "Team Tarasenko...my A$$".  We have plenty of other players.  I am headed to Tim's for a doughnut and a Double-Double.
