The Admirals would like to welcome Johnny Boychuk, Jim Slater, Johan Hedberg, Daniel Winnik, and Aaron Johnson to Amsterdam. Leaving Amsterdam is GMKL's first draft selection,2nd rounder Victor Rask, Jakub Kindl, Eric O'Dell, and Nolan Yonkman. GMKL says, "Losing Victor was hard, he was very excited for a chance to play in  Amsterdam, but business is business. He was a key component for the other side of this trade, so we wish him luck (just not against us)" joked the GM.

Johnny Boychuk will slide into the top 4. Our defense will be pretty balanced and won't lean so heavily on our top guys. In case of injury we have 9 pro ready players. Between Boychuk, Burns, Timmonen, Goligoski, Fayne and Corvo our 3 defensive pairs can have an array of pairings. We have Johnson, Sauer, and Randy Jones all in the wings waiting to step up.

Jim Slater and Daniel Winnik help add depth to our top 9, creating competition for a roster spot has never been a bad thing. Daniel Winnik already has contributed scoring 1 goal on 1 shot, also being the game winning goal against the Las Vegas Aces. Excited for a chance to play here, he and Slater will fit in nicely.

Slumping sophmore, Sergei Bobrovsky and the injured Anton Khudobin have struggled between the pipes this season, so Johan Hedberg has been brought in to put a gap until either of the young netminders regain their form. Rumors circulate around either of these goalies moving on, but GMKL remains confident.
