Dustin Nielson - Aces in 7
No Price to the start the series, plus I need as much home ice revenue as possible.
Eric Schneider - Cougars in 6
Gary Graves - Cougars in 7
Hate to say it, but the Coogs are a pretty good team and this matchup will be a slugfest even without Price.
Guy Flaming - Cougars in 6
If Vegas can survive the first 2-3 games without Carey Price then they should be able to take out the Cougars. That said, I don't see how a team can win in he playoffs without a quality back up goaltender and Al Montoya is no longer SICHL caliber. The Aces might have to score 5 goals to have a chance to win and somehow, Petr Budaj has been amazing this year.
Henry Skey - Cougars in 7
Price can't come back soon enough, I think Tom takes the first few, Dustin storms back only to have the Cougars win in game 7 OT.
Ian Constable - Cougars in 6
Jeff Prozeller - Aces in 7
I think this one goes the distance...Aces in a coin flip
Kasim Husain - Cougars in 5
The question here is how quickly can Price come back from injury and save Dustin's bacon? Not quickly enough, I'd wager, as Stockholm's a quality team and they will make the Aces miss their starter just as much as you'd expect.
Kirk MacRae - Aces in 7
Aces go the distance to maximize that playoff revenue like their franchise depends on it.
Mark MacRae - Aces in 7
For the financial health of the whole league, I can only hope that the Aces play as many games in the playoffs as possible.
Matt Burch - Cougars in 7
For some reason teams that inexplicably do well just keep doing well, so I have to give the nod to Stockholm in this series. Apologies if that's not a glowing review, but Peter Budaj is your starter! Now if you went out and got yourself a real goalie like Robin Lehner.................................................................*cough*
Matt MacInnis - Cougars in 7
The Cougs really fell off the last month of the season, going from a potential #1 seed to not even having home ice. I think they bounce back and sink the fiscally post-apocalyptic Aces.
Michael Oram - Aces in 6
Mike Franceschini - Aces in 6
Vegas is once again pinning their financial future on a long playoff run. Being the fourth seed doesn't really help them out long-term, but it helps for round 1.
Ryan Torrie - Aces in 6
Price is back. Hopefully he can stay healthy long enough to win the series for the Aces.
Sean Gallagher - Aces in 7
Looking at just the outskaters, this is another monster matchup in the first round. With Carey Price returning to the games at some point, it's just a matter of what the Aces can do to stay afloat until then. If they've held off the Cougars at that point, Stockholm (and everyone else in the playoffs, for that matter) will be in trouble.
I think they do it - Las Vegas is too loaded to ... fold (sorry).
Sheetal Khera - Cougars in 6
Very even series but I think the Cougars can beat the Aces this year.
