Stumbled after a crazy deadline, should have enough to get it done here. 3-0 during the regular season
  • Eric Schneider

My boy Henry's all over this. Luongo will have to be an absolute monster to stop the Aces, but if anyone can do it, it's him. That said, he's in tough against a whole pack of ex-Schooners, not to mention guys like Malkin and Kopitar. Yikes.
  • Gary Graves
Gary Graves - Aces in 5
"Daddy Respects" the Aces! This is a very good and deep team in Vegas and can roll 4 very solid lines. Subban, Kopitar, Malkin and more! As much as I respect the Glads, "Daddy Likes" the Aces in 5!
  • Guy Flaming
Guy Flaming - Aces in 6
On paper, the Aces are way way WAY better than Hamburg in every except for goaltending where Luongo is a force. If not for Luongo, I'd say this could be a sweep.
  • Henry Skey
Henry Skey - Aces in 5
Not this year, old boy. Aces are the team to beat in the World Conference - superstars everywhere and a ton of experience. The only way I win is if I shell former Gladiator Mike Smith and Luongo turns into some sort of goalie god.
  • Jeff Prozeller

Ahhhh excellent the Gladiators...after all the terrible things HSkey got to say about me in all the power rankings I finally get my sweet sweet revenge. So here it is in all its glory...Henry you will lose to the Aces! Ha ha
  • Kasim Husain

Vegas brings the top tier talent like they do every year, but which goalie will haunt their former team? Mike Smith strikes fear into the heart of... no-one in particular. Ever-plucky Hamburg doesn't quite have the offence to be giant-slayers this round, but Luongo's quality netminding will still give the Aces a scare.

The Aces need all the playoff revenue they can get or they will surely be kicked out of the league. So for the sake of the survival of the franchise, they have to win this. Oh wait, Hamburg needs the money too? Oh well I guess this series is our version of The Rose Ceremony (tm)

Dustin, like Guy, manages to win.
  • Matt MacInnis

The sim has an irrational love for Henry. It doesn't make sense, but it's very real.
  • Michael Oram
Michael Oram - Aces in 6
Oh man, Hamburgers and Vegas. This is two of my favourite things! Why are you making me choose!?
  • Mike Franceschini

Scanning the transactions page for Dustin's action this year is a harrowing experience. Once again, a series of massive deals has re-tooled the Aces for another long playoff run, and I expect that beyond the first round they will surprise a few teams. I think they handle a Gladiators squad that seems built entirely of players with "playoff hero" written all over them, but lacks any elite players that could turn the series in their favor.

Luongo can steal, But here the Hamburglars get, Robble-robble robbed.

I'd like to pick you Henry, but the Aces have been just getting it done in the playoffs

What does a $107 million roster buy you? Well, it better be at least a first round series win.
  • Sheetal Khera

The Aces have 3 captains defined. I think they can make it far again this year.

Henry on paper your team always looks like crap, yet you over achieve every year. Best GM in the league??
